Breakfast time
Delicious healthy oatmeal recipe! Thanks to http://thediva-dish.com (love this girls blog) If you like coconut like I do you'll love this!!! First go buy everything you need...
All natural organic coconut, coconut butter, chopped peacons, peanut butter, oats, & bananas. I used abouts a tlbs of coconut butter and peanut butter and about 2 tlbs of coconut
This stuff is the ISH... not sure what else I can put it on yet but I will have more ideas very very soon
So first step is to make the oats... then mash your nanner up in the oats and let them sit for about 2-3 min and stir
Add coconut butter, peacons, coconut and mix!
And ENJOY :) NUM NUM NUM

HGTV
Is it just more or does anyone else believe that they are winning HGTV's Dream home!? Well sorry if ya do, but I think its my year!!! I have only entered the drawing every year for the past 5 years but this year I'm feeling extra lucky! :) 2011 was not such a great year but I am confident that 2012 will go my way.

Many people always ask me about my work outs what I do to stay in shape etc etc.... so today I will share!
I LOVE running. If you do not know this, you do not know me! I am currently looking for a good half marathon to run this year. I'm ready and I'm motivated! Yeay!! Anyways, even though I only had an hour and 1/2 to work out today, I did make it to the gym super duper early before work and did a 5 mile run on the tredmil followed by 15 min on the stair master... It felt great!!! Just to share a peice of personal information I have a slight case of OCD when running on a tredmill. I HAVE to run in 3 min inturvals and then change the pace every 3 min to switch it up. I start out jogging and every 3 min increase my speed. I have gotten a little better where sometimes I can change speed every 6 min, but either way it has to be a multiple of 3. Okay okay I'm silly! But I have been this way for as long as I can remember cold winters! So, after about an hour of cardio then I only had 30 min left for abs and legs.... so after a few sets of squats and lunges and planks and sit ups I was out the door and on my way to work! Quick but decent I suppose. Well if anyone wants to run a half together let me know :) I'm down!

Okay so today is day 2 of extreamely eating healthy. I am getting very tired of carrots, strawberries, banananas and oranges! Today I am craving a veggie burger. I found this amazing looking recipe on Whole Foods web site. The plan is to make it on Sunday. Sunday is my dieting day off... so if it is my off day and the worst thing I eat is a homemade veggie burger, I will not be doing to bad! (wishful thinking... strawberry cheesecake icecream might be on the desert menu)
Ingredients
1 cup cooked brown rice
1 cup cooked no-salt-added black beans
1/4 cup diced tomato
1/4 cup diced roasted red bell peppers
1/4 cup shredded carrots
1 cup cooked and mashed sweet potato
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1 tablespoon no-salt-added chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
3 green onions, finely chopped
3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Tabasco or other hot sauce
Yes I am super excited about this.... I can hardly contain myself!!
So, since this is "all about food" today... does anyone have any ideas for superbowl party recipes? Something semi healthy would be nice.... I am thinking guacamole or something along those lines. Please share your recipes with me :)

Day Onzies
I know I keep talking about this but the weather is just amazing!! For the most part I have been able to run outside every day except for MAYBE a hand full all winter long... how spoiled am I this winter!?!? I suppose we all deserve this after the last years horrific winter.... I would imagine that within the next week or so it would get cold but NOPE the weather man said it will be 60 degrees next week! WoWseRS ;) :) =)
Okay so today is DAY ONZIES of my raw food cleanse. SO FAR SO GOOD! I do not want to be one of those people that post everything they eat but I do want to share an idea of what I have been eating so far (Okay okay I know its 10:00 AM I have only been up for 2 hours call me a pig if you'd like) I made a delicious smoothie for breakfast.
5 strawberries
freshly squeezed orange
water
ice
unsweetened all natural shredded coconut
flax seed
which looked like this....
Now day onzies without coffee.... so far so good.... I would not recommend approaching me this afternoon though. I have substituted hot water and fresh lemon so sip on instead.... not quite the same energy boost as I am used to but at least the hot water keeps my naturally ice cold body a little warmer than no coffee would. Also I have snacked on raw sunflower seeds and carrot sticks.... never thought I would be craving hummus but when I looked at the carrot sticks all I wanted was to open the tub of hummus in my fridge and dig in! And it didn't help much that the boyf purchased my FAVORITE organic black bean chips last night that were openly and invitingly sitting on my counter this AM. Other than that... I have not been tempted but I think that starting this and having absolutely no food in my house to begin with is the key to success. Can't be tempted if it's not in sight ;)

So I have decided to try a raw food cleanse.... my mom is doing it and I have read a little bit about it online now and I think that I am going to try it. According to what I have read, the cleanse can last a few as 3 days or as many as 40. My goal is 1 week! Since I am a vegetarian and have been for going on 5 years I do not think this will be to difficult. What is going to hurt me the most is no coffee!!!! If I make it 3 days honestly I will be happy :) Black coffee is my guilty pleasure! Tomorrow I am going to make a trip to Whole Foods and this is my grocery list

My new weave.... Loves it even though I feel like a blonde bombshell I'm waiting a few days before I ombre it. 400 extensions and 5 hours later I had no patience to stay to get it colored.....and this is why I dread the salon more than the dentist. Patience is a virtue.

Well 2012 has been a rocky start! I am keeping a positive outlook though, since it is just the beginning of the year/month. I don't think the snow helps much... wish we would of gotten dumped on and the grass coved if it is going to snow at all! This time of year always reminds me of how I need to live in Miami... what am I doing here? Everything happens for a reason though.... I am looking forward to Spring and traveling that is for sure! Can't wait to visit my bestie in NYC and also SOBE for my Birthday :)... on the other hand... I have been trying to order these boots for two weeks now and every time it says they have my size in (I wear a 6 1/2 just incase your feelin generous!) and I try to order them... no bueno... they really DO NOT have my size! Well... my goal for the next few days is to get my life in order and make some big girl decisions and plans for my future! I have a fifth of Circo and Cake vodka to help in the process so time to do some major thinking :) I think I need to buy something to make my weekend better though and since I can't seem to get these boots ordered I think its gonna be an Iphone 4s instead... well girls night tonight and enjoying the supposivly 56 degree weather tomorrow! Sounds like a good weekend plan to me.
