Bizzzzzy Beee
Lately I have been so busy! This has been a great week, not only have my work outs been on point, it was valentines day!!! I had the best valentine ever.... Words cannot describe how sweet the evening was ;) I felt loved and spoiled. I would share pics but I suck at taking pics when it is the most special times. I feel so boring right now so I haven't blogged much lately. My week consist of gym, work, eating, puppy play time, vday festivities, and church twice. It's amazing how much therapy I find in attending church. It has made my entire week better just by feeling closer to God. I'm so excited for the upcoming months.... I think some big changes are going to happen... To be continued ;)

I'm Dreaming of a White..... sandy beach!!!!
Holy snow! Who knew that we would wake up today with a blanket of cold white fluffy stuff on the ground? Guess I need to start watching the local new because it was a total surprise to me. I always turn the TV on 1st thing in the AM to look at the temp since I have to take the fluffy muffy out a.k.a. Bentley Boo but this morning I laid in bed for an extra long time because my motivation juices were not pumping this morning when in my half sleep half awake state I hear the news people on TV talking about how bad the roads were... that can never be a positive reason to come out from under my amazing flannel sheets. But after B licked my face and I threw him off of my head about 3 times I finally was awake enough to realize that he probably had to pee super bad and if I didn't take him out it would be on my rug at the front door and I really didn't want to do any extra laundry today.
One of my resalution for this year was to keep my blog up and I am going myself a C+ on this... I need to start doing better!! After having dinner this weekend at BRGR I have been craving garlic cilantro fries!!! I found this recipe online today and cannot wait to try it tomorrow! The best thing is, I already had everything at home so don't even have to make a trip to the grocery store. Still trying to figure out what else to have since I am in charge of lunch for the boo tomorrow (Valentines Day) Since its up to me, lunch will consist of home made black bean patties and this delish garlic cilantro fry recipe that I found on food gawker today
Ingredients (2-3 servings)
•5-6 yukon gold potatoes, cut into thin fries
•2 Tbsp olive oil
•1/4 – 1/2 tsp garlic powder
•1/2 – 3/4 tsp sea salt
•pepper
•1/4 c. loosely packed cilantro leaves, finely chopped
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees, and get a baking sheet with rack ready (if no rack, just line with foil/parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil. Cut the potatoes into fries and place in a bowl of cold water to soak for a few minutes.
Drain the water and dry the fries with paper towel. Once dry, toss the fries with the olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
Lay on a baking sheet in a single layer, preferably one that has a cooking rack so the fries can have the air circulating all around them (and no need to flip.) Bake for 20-25 minutes depending on your oven and how crispy you like your fries. If using a baking sheet without a rack, halfway through the cooking time, flip the fries.
Once done, toss fries with cilantro in a bowl.
EnJoY with a big bowl of ketchup! (FYI I love ketchup)
I will let you know how they turn out... but not tomorrow. Tomorrow I will be busy with my Valentine ;) :) =) *<3*

HGTV
Is it just more or does anyone else believe that they are winning HGTV's Dream home!? Well sorry if ya do, but I think its my year!!! I have only entered the drawing every year for the past 5 years but this year I'm feeling extra lucky! :) 2011 was not such a great year but I am confident that 2012 will go my way.
Don't be jelly :)
Many people always ask me about my work outs what I do to stay in shape etc etc.... so today I will share!
I LOVE running. If you do not know this, you do not know me! I am currently looking for a good half marathon to run this year. I'm ready and I'm motivated! Yeay!! Anyways, even though I only had an hour and 1/2 to work out today, I did make it to the gym super duper early before work and did a 5 mile run on the tredmil followed by 15 min on the stair master... It felt great!!! Just to share a peice of personal information I have a slight case of OCD when running on a tredmill. I HAVE to run in 3 min inturvals and then change the pace every 3 min to switch it up. I start out jogging and every 3 min increase my speed. I have gotten a little better where sometimes I can change speed every 6 min, but either way it has to be a multiple of 3. Okay okay I'm silly! But I have been this way for as long as I can remember cold winters! So, after about an hour of cardio then I only had 30 min left for abs and legs.... so after a few sets of squats and lunges and planks and sit ups I was out the door and on my way to work! Quick but decent I suppose. Well if anyone wants to run a half together let me know :) I'm down!
